Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:30 (40 hours per week) - Enjoy your afternoons with an early 3:30pm finish every day!
Pay: £16.00-£17.00 per hour (Weekly Pay)
Contract: Permanent (following a successful 3-month probation)

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-run engineering business in Ipswich that has been manufacturing high-quality equipment for almost 40 years. What you'll be doing:
- MIG welding mild steel from 20mm+ thickness
- Fabricating components using a variety of hand and power tools
- Operating cutting, drilling, and grinding machinery
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and weld symbols
- Producing high-quality work to company and industry standards
- Following all health and safety procedures within the workshop
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience as a MIG Welder
- Fabrication experience is highly desirable and may attract a higher rate of pay
- Ability to confidently read engineering drawings and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality workmanship
- A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider workshop team
