We're looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join a busy workshop in Birmingham, producing high-quality bespoke metal fabrications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys working on varied fabrication projects.

The Role

• MIG, TIG, and MMA welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
• Fabricate and assemble bespoke metal structures from engineering drawings
• Read and interpret technical drawings accurately
• Operate fabrication machinery and hand tools safely
• Carry out quality inspections to ensure high standards are maintained
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to meet project deadlines
• Maintain a safe and organised workshop environment

Requirements

• NVQ, City & Guilds, Apprenticeship, or equivalent in Welding/Fabrication
• Proven experience with MIG, TIG, and MMA welding
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Strong fabrication, measuring, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with bespoke fabrication, structural steel, or scenic fabrication is advantageous
