ROLE: Welder

LOCATION: Northampton

HOURS OF WORK:  Days

BASIC SALARY: £17 per hour  

Role Overview

Our client is looking for a reliable, hard working and experienced Welder to join their manufacturing team on a permanent basis.

Your responsibilities as a Welder:

• Mig Welding of steel fabrications such as fuel tanks, base frames and miscellaneous parts to do with production.
• Carrying out fabrication, repair and finishing work where required
• Read technical drawings to accurately weld and fabricate parts and components
• General workshop duties as required
• Inspecting finished work to ensure it meets quality standards
• Maintaining a safe and organised working environment

To be successful as a Welder you will have:

• Have Mig welding experience (required)
• Be able to work from technical drawings (required)
• Competent forklift driver (required)
• Have a good eye for detail
• Be reliable, motivated and able to work as part of a team
