Job Title:                     Welder/ Fabricator      

Reports to:                   Shop Floor Supervisor

Department:                Laser

Hours of work:            Mon- Thurs 8am-5pm and Fri 8am-2pm

Established for over 45 years and now one of the North West’s leading multi award winning Engineering companies, WEC Group Ltd is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Welder/Fabricator to join our busy Laser team based in Darwen, Lancs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated Welder/Fabricator, who wishes to progress within a dynamic and rapidly expanding engineering firm.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

• Time served fabricator
• Ideally able to MIG and TIG weld to a high standard
• Ideally be able to fabricate and work to engineering drawings
• Ideally be able to weld all materials types and thicknesses- Must be able to weld from 1mm up to 12mm Stainless.
• Experience of related engineering plant and machinery
• Work on own Initiative
• Reliable and punctual
