Pay: £172.98-£200 per day (dependent on experience)

Empowering Learning are working in partnership with a welcoming Welsh-medium primary school in Torfaen to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Welsh-speaking Primary Teacher for opportunities starting in September.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and inclusive school community, teaching through the medium of Welsh and helping pupils develop both academically and personally. Part-time and full-time opportunities are available, with roles running from September through to Christmas and the possibility of an extension and the chance to become permanent for the right candidate.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, creative and inspiring lessons within a Welsh-medium primary setting, creating a positive learning environment where all pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Fluency in Welsh, with the ability to teach confidently through the medium of Welsh.
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• A genuine passion for primary education and inspiring young learners.
• The ability to plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers.

• An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Two professional references covering your recent employment.
• The right to work in the UK.
• The ability to communicate and teach confidently in Welsh.

• Competitive daily pay of £172.98 to £200 per day, depending on experience.
