TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school in Barry that is looking to welcome a passionate Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant to their team. The school is seeking a hard-working and enthusiastic individual who can build positive relationships with pupils and staff while contributing confidently to school life.

The school is looking to take on a Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant will work across different Key Stages depending on the needs of the school and will be expected to remain flexible, show initiative and confidently support pupils with their learning.

The successful Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant will have:

• The ability to speak Welsh fluently, which is essential for this role
• Experience supporting children within a primary school or similar setting
• Confidence working with pupils across different Key Stages
• A flexible and open-minded approach to supporting the needs of the school
• A hard-working attitude with the ability to use initiative
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
