This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work and wants to make a real difference to people’s lives. Whether your background is in care, healthcare, maintenance or another hands-on role, we’d love to hear from you!

You will work alongside Occupational Therapists and experienced technicians, helping to provide specialist wheelchairs and mobility equipment for adults and children with disabilities and complex needs.

  • Support the safe moving and handling of patients and equipment.

Essential Requirements

  • A practical, hands-on approach and confidence using hand tools.
  • Good communication skills and a caring, empathetic attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage tasks responsibly.
  • Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to undertake role-specific training.

Desirable: Experience in care, healthcare, maintenance, mechanical work or a similar practical role. Experience with stock control or wheelchair equipment would also be beneficial but not essential.

A full driving licence and access to a car would be advantageous but are not essential.
