Window Fitter / Window & Door Installer

Window and door fitting experience is required.

We are looking for an experienced Window Fitter / Window & Door Installer to join a team on a self-employed basis, working as part of a two-person fitting team across the Halesowen and Sandwell areas.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced fitter looking for regular work within the domestic sector, working directly in homeowners’ properties as well as on local authority contracts.

The Role

As a Window Fitter, you will be responsible for the professional installation of windows and doors across a range of domestic properties. You will work as part of a two-person team, ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

The role will involve:

• Installing windows and doors within domestic properties.

• Working on both homeowner and local authority contracts.

• Removing existing windows and doors where required.

• Installing uPVC windows and doors to a high standard.

• Working as part of a two-person fitting team.

• Ensuring installations are completed accurately and efficiently.

• Maintaining a clean and professional working environment within customers’ homes.

• Following relevant health and safety procedures.

• Representing the company professionally when working with homeowners and local authority customers.

Requirements

Window and door fitting experience is essential.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Proven experience fitting windows and doors.

• Experience working within the domestic sector.

• Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a two-person team.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• A full UK driving licence is preferred.

• Own window fitting tools are essential.

• A reliable and professional approach to work.

Driving arrangements: We are open to either two qualified fitters, or one experienced driver/fitter working alongside a competent fitter’s mate.

Pay & Benefits

• Self-employed position

• Up to £180 per day, depending on experience

• Potential annual earnings of approximately £40,000–£45,000

• Regular work available

• Domestic and local authority contracts

• Work primarily across Halesowen, Sandwell and surrounding areas
