Wood Machinist

The Best Connection Birmingham is currently recruiting for an experienced Wood Machinist to join a well-established company based in Solihull.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled machinist looking to join a busy workshop with regular daytime hours and competitive pay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.
• Cutting, shaping, and machining timber to specification.
• Reading and working from technical drawings where required.
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure finished products meet company standards.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Wood Machinist is essential.
• Confident operating a spindle moulder, planer, panel saw, and crosscut saw.
• Ability to work accurately and to high-quality standards.
• Good understanding of workshop health and safety procedures.

Pay rate:

• £14.50 per hour

Hours of work:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am - 5:00pm
