Working Site Manager (360 Ticket Required) – Petrol Forecourt Project
Location: Tavistock, Devon
Job Type: Contract / Temporary
Start Date: 29/6/2026

We are currently seeking an experienced Working Site Manager for a petrol forecourt construction project in Tavistock.
This is a hands-on role requiring a candidate who is comfortable managing site operations while also operating machinery when required. A valid 360 Excavator Ticket is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day site activities and subcontractors.
  • Ensure works are completed safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.
  • Operate a 360 excavator as required.
  • Coordinate deliveries, plant, and materials.
  • Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks.
  • Maintain health and safety compliance and site records.
  • Liaise with clients, engineers, and project management teams.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Working Site Manager within civil engineering, groundworks, or forecourt projects.
  • Valid SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
  • Valid CSCS Card.
  • Valid 360 Excavator Ticket (CPCS or NPORS).
  • First Aid at Work certification preferred.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead site teams while remaining hands-on with site operations.
