Mon-Fri 7:00-16:00

Mon-Fri 15:00-22:00

The Workplace Host plays a key role in creating a welcoming, well-run, and customer-focused office environment. Acting as the first point of contact for employees and visitors, you will help shape a positive workplace experience and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the site.

This role is based in a small, single-floor office that supports a senior leadership team, offering the opportunity to build strong relationships and take ownership of the workplace experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a professional and friendly front-of-house service, creating a positive first impression
  • Act as the main point of contact for workplace queries, including meeting room bookings and general support
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service, consistently going above and beyond expectations
  • Manage visitor access and ensure a smooth arrival experience
  • Set up meeting rooms, including arranging catering and clearing away after use
  • Maintain kitchen and breakout areas, including keeping spaces tidy and well-stocked
  • Support day-to-day office operations to ensure a welcoming and efficient environment
  • Build positive working relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders
  • Take ownership of the role and proactively identify ways to improve the workplace experience

Experience & Skills

Essential:

  • Strong customer service experience (e.g. retail, hospitality, reception or similar)
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong command of English
  • Confident interacting with a wide range of people, including senior stakeholders
  • Personable, proactive, and professional approach
  • Willingness to take initiative and go the extra mile
  • Good organisation skills and attention to detail
