Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking a Workplace Host.

As a Workplace Host, you will play a key role in shaping a welcoming workplace environment and delivering an exceptional experience for both clients and colleagues. Acting as an ambassador for the organisation, you will support the customer experience journey, ensuring all interactions reflect a professional and high-quality service.

Working as part of the Workplace Experience team, you will help create engaging environments that support wellbeing, productivity and company culture. The role combines a five-star front-of-house service with responsibility for overseeing cleaning operations and maintaining high workplace standards throughout out-of-office hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance the client and guest experience by proactively identifying opportunities to exceed expectations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for colleagues and visitors, managing enquiries in person and via telephone.
  • Deliver a five-star reception service through professional greetings, clear communication and maintaining a polished environment.
  • Oversee, support and coordinate cleaning operations during out-of-office hours.
  • Support day-to-day workplace experience activities, including technology assistance, food services, events and wellness schedules.
  • Manage the Visitor Management System to ensure accurate and efficient guest registration.
  • Support the Workplace Lead in operational decision-making to optimise processes and improve colleague experience.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, clients and visitors to foster a welcoming culture.
  • Ensure the workplace remains clean, organised and professional, reporting maintenance or service issues as required.

Person Specification

  • Previous experience in corporate, housekeeping, hospitality or customer service environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and build relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Flexible, adaptable and proactive approach to work.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills within a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, customer-focused service.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
