Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking a Workplace Services Navigator to support the day-to-day operation of meeting rooms, hospitality services, reception, concierge support, and workplace facilities.
This role is focused on delivering a high-quality workplace experience for visitors, colleagues, and end users by ensuring workplace environments, meeting spaces, and support services are maintained to a consistently high standard.
The successful candidate will provide professional workplace support across a range of services including meeting room management, hospitality, reception, post room operations, and administrative duties. They will work independently, respond proactively to workplace requirements, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain meeting room standards, ensuring rooms are clean, stocked, tested, and ready for business use.
- Prepare and deliver hospitality requests, including tea and coffee services, ensuring vendor services are provided on time and to specification.
- Present, reinstate, and proactively maintain meeting rooms and designated workplace areas to a high standard.
- Log reactive tasks with the helpdesk and support the identification, reporting, and rectification of health and safety hazards.
- Respond promptly to cleaning and workplace service requests to meet operational requirements.
- Liaise with end users and facilities management colleagues to maintain workplace standards and a professional environment.
- Support employees with floor orientation, equipment induction, reservations, and workplace-related queries via telephone, email, and in person.
- Provide reception, concierge, security pass administration, post room management, and event-related support as required.
Person Specification
- Proven experience within a customer service-focused environment.
- Experience in a front-of-house or hospitality role within a corporate setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
- Professional appearance and approach at all times.
- Self-disciplined with the ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Ability to make decisions without referral to a manager.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Strong organisational, planning, and customer service skills with a proactive and positive attitude.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to maintain databases.
- Ability to support connections to AV equipment, internet services, and printers.
