📍 Portsmouth | Full-Time | Permanent
🕒 Monday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm + 1 in 3 Saturdays

We are recruiting for an experienced Workshop Controller to join a busy commercial vehicle operation in the Portsmouth area.

This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone with strong HGV technical knowledge and commercial workshop experience looking to take the next step in their career.

🔧 The Role

• Coordinate the day-to-day running of the workshop
• Allocate jobs and manage workshop resources
• Lead and support workshop staff
• Monitor productivity, quality and performance
• Work towards KPIs, budgets and targets
• Liaise with Service, Parts and Management teams
• Ensure high standards of safety and customer service

✅ About You

• Previous commercial workshop management/control experience
• Strong HGV technical knowledge essential
• Automotive industry experience essential
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Able to prioritise and multitask
• Experience working with KPIs and targets
• Proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
