We are currently recruiting for a Workshop Controller / Warranty Administrator on behalf of our client, a reputable main dealership located in Dunstable, Bedfordshire. Workshop Controller Vacancy Key Benefits:
  • Basic salary of £34,000 with potential earnings of up to £40,000 OTE

Workshop Controller duties:
  • Allocate work to technicians based on skills, workload, and deadlines
  • Lead and support a team of technicians, ensuring productive workshop operations
  • Monitor workshop efficiency and ensure timely completion of repairs
  • Check job cards and technician work for accuracy and completeness
  • Cost additional work, support upselling initiatives, and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Conduct vehicle health checks and liaise with Service Advisors to keep customers informed
  • Process and submit warranty claims accurately and efficiently
  • Manage warranty payments, credit notes, and warranty schedules to ensure compliance and cash flow
Workshop Controller / Warranty Administrator requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Workshop Controller, Workshop Foreman, or similar role
  • Supervisory experience managing technicians in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle repair processes and workshop procedures
  • Previous warranty administration experience is desirable
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
  • Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
