Location: Northampton
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (DOE)

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to join a busy and modern operation in Northampton. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of workshop performance, support a skilled team of technicians, and ensure the highest standards of service delivery are maintained.

Automotive Workshop Controller -Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the day-to-day workshop operation
• Ensure servicing, maintenance and repair work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
• Support technicians with technical guidance and assistance
• Maximise workshop productivity and labour utilisation
• Sign off job cards and service documentation
• Monitor costs and assist with departmental budget control
• Maintain excellent customer service and communication standards
• Ensure compliance with company and industry health and safety requirements

Automotive Workshop Controller -About You

• Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Workshop Supervisor, Senior Technician or similar role
• Strong commercial vehicle or HGV maintenance knowledge
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Ability to prioritise workloads and manage a busy workshop environment
• Customer-focused approach with strong communication skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
