We are recruiting for an experienced Workshop Manager to lead a busy Truck & Trailer maintenance facility in the Central Belt of Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business where you'll have full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the workshop, leading a skilled team and ensuring the highest standards of service, safety and efficiency.

The Role

As Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Managing the daily operation of a busy Truck & Trailer workshop
• Leading, motivating and developing a team of HGV Technicians and support staff
• Planning workloads and ensuring maximum workshop productivity
• Maintaining compliance with DVSA, Health & Safety and company procedures
• Monitoring workshop performance, KPIs and budgets
• Ensuring repairs and servicing are completed to the highest standard
• Liaising with customers and internal departments to deliver exceptional service
• Managing parts, stock and workshop resources efficiently

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience managing an HGV or Truck & Trailer workshop
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial vehicles
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Experience planning workloads and maximising workshop efficiency
• Good understanding of DVSA standards and compliance
• A proactive, organised and customer-focused approach
