TEKNIKAL Specialist Recruitment are recruiting for a Workshop Plant Fitter on behalf of our well-established plant hire client based in Swindon, Wiltshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business that values its employees and offers genuine career progression.

✅ The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring plant machinery is fully prepared, serviced, and maintained to the highest standards by:

• Carrying out routine inspections, diagnostics, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of plant machinery.
• Completing accurate maintenance and service records.
• Conducting PDI checks to ensure equipment is ready for hire.
• Working both independently and within a team environment.
• Meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
• Following all Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices.

✅ What You'll Need

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent qualification).
• Proven experience maintaining and repairing plant machinery.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, use initiative, and manage your workload effectively.
