On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established precision engineering company that manufactures high-quality components for industries including aerospace, medical, and motorsport. The company is looking for a Workshop Operative to support the daily running of its workshop, helping with materials, finished products, and general workshop duties.

In this role, you will prepare materials for production, check deliveries, wash and pack finished products, and carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of workshop equipment. You will also help keep the workshop clean and organised, support with finishing parts, and occasionally make deliveries to customers and suppliers.

This role would suit a Workshop Operative or similar looking for a varied Monday to Friday role within an established engineering company offering training and an early finish on Fridays.

The Role:

• Preparing materials, checking deliveries, and packing finished products
• General workshop duties, basic machine maintenance, and housekeeping
• Monday to Thursday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, Friday, 8:00am - 1:00pm

The Person:

• Workshop Operative, Production Operative, Warehouse Operative, or similar
• Practical, organised, and happy to carry out varied workshop tasks
• Full UK driving licence and commutable to Abingdon
