Workshop/Yard Assistant
Hours: 40 hours 
£24,000 - £28,000 

We are looking for a Workshop/Yard Assistant to join our team, supporting the service and maintenance of our rental fleet. This is a hands-on role involving workshop support, yard duties and assisting with the upkeep of equipment.

Workshop/Yard Assistant Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with servicing, maintenance and preparation of rental equipment.
  • Support workshop repairs and off-site servicing when required.
  • Load and unload equipment within the yard.
  • Operate a forklift when required (training provided if needed).
  • Record generator hours and fuel levels when equipment returns.
  • Collect and deliver parts and equipment using company vehicles.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
  • Follow company Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures.
Skills & Experience Required from the Workshop/Yard Assistant: 
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Forklift Truck Licence.
  • Previous workshop or engineering experience.
  • CSCS Card.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible and positive approach to work.
