Job Title: Worktop Fitter Location: Northamptonshire Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE
Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a reliable and hardworking Worktop Fitter to join a leading specialist in the design, fabrication, and installation of premium natural stone, quartz, and solid surface worktops. Working on high-end residential and commercial projects nationwide, this business combines traditional craftsmanship with advanced precision engineering. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for an individual looking to work on bespoke, high-quality projects while developing valuable technical skills within a supportive and professional team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Accompany qualified worktop template fitters on site visits nationwide to carry out installations.
  • Assist with loading up delivery vans and ensuring worktops are safely secured, balanced, and level.
  • Share driving responsibilities with team members, ensuring company vehicles are kept clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring all client requirements are met to the company's high standards of excellence.
  • Support factory operations and assist with additional duties whenever required.
Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy items and comfortably manoeuvre materials in tight spaces as well as during van loading/unloading.
  • Must have a clear DBS / CRB check.
  • Highly punctual, dependable, and possesses a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for high-end finishing.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and technical processes.
  • Previous experience in installing and fitting solid surface or stone worktops, such as Granite, Marble, or Quartz
