The Opportunity
Now Dutton are currently recruiting experienced Electricians to join a major data centre project.
This is an excellent opportunity for electricians with data centre experience who are confident working with large cables, MEWPs and UPS/battery systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Pulling and installing 185mm H07ZZF and 240mm H07ZZF cables from UPS systems to battery cabinets
- Working from MEWPs, with cable runs up to approximately 32 metres
- Glanding and terminating cables
- Potential involvement in battery building
- Working safely and efficiently within a live project environment
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safety
Requirements
Essential:
- JIB Gold Card
- IPAF qualification
- Proven electrical experience
- Experience working on data centre projects is highly desirable
PPE Requirements
You will be required to provide/bring 5-point PPE, including:
- Hard hat with chin strap
- Safety boots
- Hi-vis
- Safety glasses
- Suitable workwear
