Our client is looking for a motivated and hands-on individual to join their growing team in a varied and rewarding role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is looking to develop new skills within a supportive and expanding business.

Working as part of a busy depot, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse and yard while playing a key role in stock management. As the business continues to grow, you'll also receive full training, making this far more than your average warehouse role.

Duties include:

• Supporting the day-to-day operation of the warehouse and depot.
• Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Accurately picking and preparing stock for customer orders.
• Carrying out routine stock counts and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Keeping the warehouse and yard clean, organised and safe.
• Operating a forklift to move goods and materials.
• Assisting with the manufacture of installation fixings.
• Travelling nationwide (following full training) to install portable air conditioning units.
• Supporting colleagues across the business and carrying out any other duties as required.

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience within a warehouse, yard or depot environment.
• A valid forklift licence.
• A full UK driving licence.
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to accurately manage stock.
• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to travel nationwide when required following training.
