Job Title: Yard Operative with D1 License 
Location: Elland
Pay Rate: £12.71 p/h
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - (05:00 start)
Experience: No experience required (must hold a D1 Licence)

Nexus People are looking for a Hybrid Yard Operative and D1 Bus Driver in Elland to work with our client, who is the UK’s leading TV and monitor recycling plant.

Yard Operative/D1 Bus Driver – the role & responsibilities:
  • The shift will begin by collecting employees from a car park 1 mile away from the site using the D1 bus (until around 06:30)
  • Cleaning the site
  • Loading and Unloading
  • Heavy lifting up to 25kg
  • Completing relevant paperwork 
  • You will drop off/pick up workers during the shift when required
This role may require other duties, so it would be beneficial if you were flexible and willing to learn new skills.

About you:
  • You must hold a valid D1 Licence (in-house certificate accepted)
  • Have good communication and people skills
  • This is a very active role, must be comfortable with heavy lifting (25kg) and working on your feet for long periods of time.
You must be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
