Our client based near Saffron Walden, Essex is looking for a Yard Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis.
As a Yard Supervisor your duties will include:
- Supervising loading/unloading activities
- Operating forklift, ensuring health and safety is maintained at all times
- Ensuring smooth running of daily operations
- Identifying opportunities to improve operational processes
- Completing paperwork as required
- Ensuring safety & environmental policies are adhered to.
An ideal candidate for the Yard Supervisor role will have:
- Previous experience in the mechanical engineering industry
- Good knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, and engines
- Ability to work alone and flexibility.
