Smile Education are proud to be partnering with a welcoming and community-focused primary school in Essington, seeking a committed Year 1/2 Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This full-time, long-term role offers the chance to make a genuine difference every single day. 

As a Year 1/2 Teaching Assistant, you will:
  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
  • Provide targeted support to individual pupils and small groups
  • Help create a positive, fun and stimulating learning environment
  • Encourage independence, confidence and a love of learning
  • Assist with classroom management, resources and displays
  • Promote the school’s values and contribute to the wider school community
We’re looking for someone who is:
  • Enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about working with young children
  • Able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
  • Confident supporting early literacy and numeracy
  • Patient, nurturing and proactive in the classroom
  • Experienced in a similar role OR eager to learn and grow in a supportive school
Relevant qualifications (such as Level 2/Level 3 Supporting Teaching & Learning or Childcare)
