Are you a qualified Primary Teacher looking for a fantastic part-time teaching role in Malvern?

Distinction Education is recruiting a Year 1 Teacher to join a lovely, supportive primary school in Malvern for 2 days per week, starting ASAP.

The position has become available earlier than expected due to maternity leave and will be a job-share role within a Year 1 class.

This is a great opportunity for a KS1 Teacher who wants the consistency of their own class without the commitment of a full working week.

The Year 1 Teacher role

• Teaching a Year 1 class

• 2 days per week

• Support from an experienced parallel Year 1 teacher

• Welcoming and supportive primary school

• Malvern, Worcestershire

You'll work closely with the job-share teacher and wider KS1 team to ensure consistency for the children and provide engaging, high-quality teaching and learning.

What we're looking for

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching within KS1

• Ideally, previous Year 1 teaching experience

• Good knowledge of the KS1 curriculum

• Strong classroom management

• A warm, enthusiastic and reliable approach

• Someone who works well as part of a team
