Year 3 Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment

Full‑Time Y3 Teacher - Brinnington, Stockport (September Start)

A larger‑than‑average primary school in Brinnington, Stockport is looking for a dedicated Year 3 teacher to join the team full‑time from September. The school serves a community with a high percentage of pupil premium families and children from areas of deprivation, making this a role where your work has real impact and daily purpose.

Staff work closely with families, building partnerships that help every child thrive.

The successful candidate will

  • Strong subject knowledge - secure understanding of the Y3 curriculum and ability to apply it confidently.
  • Trusting relationships - positive rapport with pupils and families to support learning and wellbeing.
  • Pacey, engaging lessons - teaching that maintains momentum, focus and motivation throughout the school day.
  • Patience and resilience - calm, consistent approach to behaviour, progress and day‑to‑day challenges.
  • Family partnership - commitment to working closely with parents and carers as active partners in each child's learning journey.

This full‑time role is paid at M1-M6 and offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in a community that values stability, encouragement and high‑quality teaching. It's a position where your dedication will be visible, appreciated and transformative.
