Protocol Education is recruiting on behalf of a primary school in Kingswood, Bristol (BS15) for a dedicated Year 4 Class Teacher to join their team from September.
This is a full-time, 5-day-a-week role for the entire academic year. The school is looking for a confident and resilient teacher who can take full responsibility for their class and make a positive impact on pupils' learning and development.
About the RoleYou will have full class teacher responsibilities, including:
- Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons.
- Marking and assessing pupils' work.
- Monitoring and supporting pupil progress.
- Managing classroom behaviour confidently and effectively.
- Attending staff meetings, parents' evenings and other school commitments.
- Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and the wider school team.
- UK QTS is essential.
- Proven experience teaching Year 4 and/or KS2.
- Ideally, candidates will have completed their ECT induction.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A confident, resilient and adaptable approach.
- Ability to take full responsibility for a class.
- Commitment to the entire academic year.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
- Pay to scale, reflecting the full class teacher responsibilities.
