Veritas Education is working in partnership with a friendly primary school in Nelson, Lancashire, to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Year 4 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about creating engaging, purposeful and inclusive learning experiences for pupils.

The school has a strong community ethos and is committed to helping every child develop academically, socially and emotionally. You'll be joining a supportive staff team where teamwork, high expectations and positive relationships are valued.

As the Year 4 Class Teacher, you'll take responsibility for planning and delivering an exciting KS2 curriculum, while nurturing pupils' confidence, independence and love of learning.

• Has experience teaching Year 4 or within Key Stage 2
• Plans and delivers engaging, creative and purposeful lessons
• Has a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
• Sets high expectations for behaviour, progress and achievement
• Can adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND
• Builds positive and trusting relationships with pupils
• Creates a calm, positive and engaging classroom environment
• Works collaboratively with colleagues and the wider school community
• Is enthusiastic, organised and committed to achieving the best outcomes for children

Applications are welcomed from experienced teachers and confident ECTs with relevant KS2 experience.
