Are you an enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 2 teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Gillingham for a full-time, permanent Year 5 Class Teacher to join their dedicated team from September.

The Role
As the Year 5 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire pupils to achieve their full potential. You will create a positive learning environment where high expectations and strong relationships help children flourish both academically and personally.
Strong behaviour management is essential for this role. The successful candidate will be confident in establishing clear routines, maintaining high standards of behaviour, and creating a calm, purposeful classroom where learning can thrive.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Upper KS2.
- Demonstrates excellent behaviour management skills and can confidently manage a range of classroom behaviours.
- Delivers creative, engaging and well-planned lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Has high expectations of pupils' achievement, progress and conduct.
- Works effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive staff team.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
