Your new role
As Year 6 Teacher, you will:

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to a Year 6 class.
• Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.
• Prepare pupils effectively for end-of-key-stage assessments and their transition to secondary school.
• Set high expectations for behaviour, achievement and personal development.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, using data effectively to drive attainment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.

What you'll need to succeed

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and strong subject knowledge.
• It is committed to raising standards and improving outcomes for all pupils.
• Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Brings enthusiasm, creativity and a genuine passion for education.
