Full-Time | Fixed-Term (September – July)

A welcoming primary school in Tower Hamlets is looking to appoint a dedicated Year 6 Teacher from September until July. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact while working within a supportive and collaborative team.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, prepare pupils for their transition to secondary school, and maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.

This is a full-time, fixed-term role from September to July, suitable for an experienced KS2 teacher or a confident Year 5 teacher looking to step into Year 6.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress.
• Prepare pupils for SATs through high-quality teaching.
• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff.
• Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching Key Stage 2 (Year 6 experience desirable).
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment.
• A commitment to raising standards and supporting all learners.
• Experience working with SEN
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
