Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Year Manager to lead and coordinate educational programs for students throughout the academic year. As a Year Manager, you will serve as a key point of contact for students, teachers, and parents, ensuring smooth communication and effective management of student progress. Your role is vital in fostering a positive learning environment, promoting student engagement, and supporting academic success. This role can be either temporary, temporary to permanent or permanent dependent on your choice.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between students, teachers, and parents to facilitate clear communication regarding academic progress and school activities
  • Organize and oversee student schedules, ensuring timely attendance at classes and extracurricular activities
  • Monitor student performance, attendance, and behavior, providing support or intervention when necessary
  • Coordinate with teaching staff to implement tailored learning plans and track individual student development
  • Plan and execute regular meetings with stakeholders to review progress, address concerns, and set goals for the upcoming term
  • Maintain accurate records of student information, attendance logs, and academic achievements
  • Foster a positive school culture by promoting inclusivity, motivation, and active participation among students

Requirements

  • Proven experience in teaching or educational program management; prior leadership roles are highly desirable
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, teachers, and staff
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their best academically and personally
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges
  • A passion for education and commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in education or school administration are preferred
