We're recruiting an Employer Liaison Officer to support an exciting government-funded programme helping young people take their first steps into employment.
The programme offers employers the opportunity to provide young people with paid work placements, with the government funding their wages for 25 hours per week for six months.
Your role is all about getting the right employers on board – businesses that believe in giving young people a chance, developing the next generation of talent and creating meaningful employment opportunities.
What you'll be doing
- Proactively approaching businesses and building employer relationships.
- Promoting the programme and encouraging employers to offer placements.
- Securing suitable vacancies and ensuring employers understand their responsibilities.
- Working with Employment Advisors to match young people with opportunities.
What we're looking for
- Confident communicator who enjoys building relationships.
- Experience in employer engagement, recruitment, B2B sales or similar.
- Comfortable making cold calls and approaching new businesses.
- Someone who genuinely believes in helping young people succeed.
You don't necessarily need experience in the employability sector. We're interested in people with strong relationship-building skills, a proactive approach and a passion for making a difference.
