What does a Labourer do?
Labourers support trades on construction sites — moving and loading materials, digging, mixing, clearing and keeping the site safe and tidy. Most site work requires a CSCS card; the green Labourer card needs a Level 1 health and safety qualification. Work is often through an agency and paid hourly or by the day, with early starts; CPCS or other plant tickets widen the options.
