KS2 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant – ADHD – NG5

£100–£110 per day | Full-time | September start

Class Mate is recruiting for a KS2 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with ADHD at a primary school in NG5. You’ll provide consistent, individualised support to help the pupil access learning, manage the school day and develop greater confidence and independence.

The Role

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a KS2 pupil with ADHD
• Support access to classroom learning and activities
• Use appropriate strategies to encourage focus and engagement
• Help promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation
• Adapt activities to meet the pupil's individual needs
• Work closely with the class teacher and SEND team

We're Looking For

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
• Experience supporting pupils with ADHD is highly desirable
• Understanding of behaviour, regulation and individual support strategies
• Patient, consistent and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
