We are recruiting an experienced 1st / 2nd Line IT Support Engineer for an established consumer goods business based in Bradford. Employing several hundred people, the company requires additional support within its small, hands-on IT team during a busy period.

This is a fully on-site contract role, initially for three months, and would suit someone who is practical, approachable and comfortable taking ownership of technical issues through to resolution.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing 1st and 2nd line IT support to users across the business

  • Helping the wider IT team with general infrastructure and support activities as required

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in an IT support, helpdesk, desktop support or service desk role
  • Confidence supporting Windows-based environments
  • Practical experience of Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
  • Good knowledge of PC and laptop builds, configuration and deployment
  • Experience using remote support or monitoring tools; knowledge of Atera would be beneficial
  • A strong customer-service approach and the ability to communicate clearly with users at all levels
  • Someone who takes ownership, works through problems methodically and sees issues through to resolution
  • A flexible, hands-on attitude and the ability to work effectively within a small IT team
  • Availability to start at short notice

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established Bradford business and make an immediate contribution to its day-to-day IT support operation.
