The Role

Working alongside a crew mate, you'll be responsible for completing scheduled deliveries and installations while providing excellent customer service throughout the delivery process.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering and installing furniture in customers' homes
• Working alongside a crew mate to complete daily delivery schedules
• Loading and unloading furniture safely and efficiently
• Carrying out vehicle and safety checks before and during journeys
• Driving safely and responsibly in accordance with company procedures
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
• Encouraging customer feedback and helping to ensure a positive delivery experience
• Working closely with the wider distribution centre team
• Following relevant driving, tachograph, health and safety procedures
• Undertaking regular manual handling and heavy lifting
• Supporting the wider warehouse and distribution operation when required

The role involves heavy lifting and manual handling, so a good level of physical fitness is essential.

About You

We're looking for reliable, hardworking and customer-focused individuals who enjoy working as part of a team and take pride in delivering a high-quality service.

To be successful, you'll have:

• A valid Category C1 driving licence
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A valid Driver CPC qualification
• Previous experience in a professional driving role
• Good knowledge of tachograph regulations
• The ability to follow processes and procedures
• Good physical fitness and the ability to undertake heavy lifting and manual handling
