Access Control Engineer

Salary: Between £35000 - £45000 + Overtime + Call-Out + Pension
We are currently looking for an experienced Access Control Engineer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with experience in access control and integrated security systems to work across a variety of commercial and high-end residential projects throughout London and the surrounding Home Counties.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Installation, servicing and maintenance of access control systems
- Installation and maintenance of CCTV systems
- Door entry system installation and fault finding
- Intruder alarm installation, servicing and reactive maintenance
- Gates, barriers and integrated security systems
- Fault finding, testing and commissioning
- Reactive call-outs and planned maintenance visits
- Completing service reports and maintaining high standards of customer service
We aim to schedule engineers' work in advance wherever possible, although emergency call-outs may occasionally require changes to planned work.
Requirements
- Proven experience installing and maintaining access control systems
- Experience with CCTV, door entry and intruder alarm systems
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- ECS Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Desirable Experience
- Integrated security systems
- IP CCTV
- Intruder & CCTV ARC monitoring
- Gates and barriers
- IPAF certification (preferred but not essential)

- Visonic
- Hikvision
- Honeywell Fire
- Advanced MX Range
- Orisec
