Account Manager

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced Account Manager to join a busy manufacturing business.

Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you'll oversee procurement, inventory management, customer relationships, supplier performance, and day-to-day site operations while driving continuous improvement, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting business growth.

• Manage daily site operations, procurement, purchasing, and inventory control.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer, supplier, and billing queries.
• Monitor operational performance and produce management reports.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee stock counts.
• Ensure effective stock control, inventory accuracy, and purchasing activities.
• Lead, train, motivate, and support site employees.
• Work collaboratively across manufacturing, operations, procurement, and supply chain teams.

• 3-5 years' experience in Account Management, Procurement, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Site Management, Operations, Supply Chain, or a similar role.
• Previous experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Good understanding of procurement, purchasing, inventory management, stock control, and Lean principles.
• Excellent customer service, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Full UK driving licence.
