Our client is a well-established Managed Service Provider specialising in Data Resilience, Cyber Security and Cloud Solutions. They help organisations protect critical data, strengthen cyber security, minimise downtime and recover quickly from business disruption.

As part of their continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Account Manager to join their successful commercial team.

The Role

This is a genuine account management opportunity focused on nurturing and developing an established customer base. You'll build strong, long-term relationships with existing clients, ensuring they receive exceptional service while identifying opportunities to introduce additional solutions that support their evolving business needs.

There is no requirement to bring existing clients, contacts or a book of business. You'll inherit a portfolio of customers and focus on growing those relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop an existing portfolio of business customers
  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Conduct regular account reviews to understand client objectives
  • Identify opportunities across Managed Services, Cyber Security, Cloud and Data Protection solutions
  • Collaborate with technical consultants and pre-sales specialists to deliver tailored solutions
  • Drive customer satisfaction, retention and long-term account growth
  • Manage renewals and maximise revenue opportunities within existing accounts

About You

You'll have previous experience managing customer accounts within an MSP or IT services environment and enjoy building lasting client relationships.

Experience with one or more of the following would be highly beneficial:

  • Managed Services
  • Cloud Solutions
  • Cyber Security
  • Backup & Disaster Recovery
  • Microsoft 365
  • Infrastructure or Networking Solutions

You'll also demonstrate:

  • Outstanding relationship-building and communication skills
  • A consultative, customer-first sales approach
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • The ability to identify growth opportunities while delivering excellent customer service
