Accounting Generalist

£35,000 - £49,000 DOE | Permanent | Full-time | On-site

STEM Recruitment Solutions are delighted to be supporting a well-established manufacturing business in the recruitment of an experienced Accounting Generalist to join a small, collaborative finance team.

This is a hands-on role offering broad exposure across operational accounting, working closely with the Financial Controller and wider business.

The Role

You'll take ownership across a range of accounting activities, including:

• Payroll and employee expenses
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Multi-currency payments and bank reconciliations
• Month-end journals, accruals and prepayments
• Fixed assets and financial records
• Credit control and aged debt
• Supporting financial and operational reporting
• Working with department heads to monitor performance and KPIs

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• Part-qualified or fully qualified AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• Experienced within an industry/manufacturing environment
• Comfortable working across a broad range of accounting functions
• Practical, adaptable and happy working in a small finance team
• Confident communicating with both finance and non-finance stakeholders

Study support is available for candidates continuing their professional qualifications.

• £35,000 - £49,000 salary, depending on experience

• Monday-Thursday 8:30am-4:30pm
• Friday early finish at 1:30pm
