Temporary Accounts & Administration Assistant, Ampthill, to £28,000

We are pleased to be partnering with a mid-sized business in Central Bedfordshire. Our client is looking for a junior Accounts Clerk that they can train to an Accounts Assistant on a temporary to permanent basis. The role is 100% on site with parking available. You will either be an Accountancy and Finance graduate or have recently started your AAT studies.

The Job description: 

• Overseeing the Accounts Payable inbox
• Processing of supplier and invoices, ensuring that they are matched to purchase orders
• Process supplier credits
• Reconciling supplier statements to ensure that all supplier invoices have been actioned
• Being the first point of contact for suppliers
• Ensuring supplier records are complete and up to date
• Raising jobs and purchase orders when required
• Support the Finance Director in service delivery
• Weekly Aged Creditors report
• Other duties as required by the business 

Your experience:
 

This is a junior entry level role looking for a graduate or someone that is studying their AAT or AAT qualified with excellent customer service skills. The company location will require you to have access to a car.
