Beyond Talent Solutions are delighted to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Barnsley to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied finance role, thrives in a busy environment and is looking for a long-term opportunity within a supportive and friendly team.

The Role

You’ll play an important role within the finance team, supporting with a variety of day-to-day accounting and finance duties, including:

• Processing purchase invoices
• Raising sales invoices
• Allocating payments and resolving invoice queries
• Credit control, including chasing outstanding invoices and managing customer accounts
• Handling customer and supplier invoice queries
• Completing bank reconciliations
• Supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks
• General finance administration and ad-hoc duties as required

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Confident communicating with customers and internal stakeholders
• Organised, reliable and able to manage their own workload
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Keen to develop their finance experience
• A team player with a positive, hands-on approach

Previous experience within an accounts or finance environment would be beneficial.
