What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?
- Managing the processing of client data using software such as Xero, Dext, Sage, and QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Assisting with year-end accounts preparation and tax calculations, under supervision, using the CCH software suite
- Supporting file reviews, preparing accounts packs, and drafting correspondence for client submissions
- Handling personal tax issues and filings in compliance with current legislation, including simple tax calculations and P11D submissions
- Participating in ad hoc accounting duties, contributing to service excellence and client satisfaction
Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy:
- Demonstrates competent knowledge of bookkeeping and accounts processing software
- Shows enthusiasm for developing knowledge of accounts preparation, tax legislation, and compliance requirements
- Possesses good organisational skills with an eye for detail
