Working within a finance team of five, you'll support the Financial Controller while becoming involved across the wider finance function-not just processing invoices all day.

What you'll be doing

• Processing high volumes of purchase ledger invoices.
• Matching invoices against purchase orders.
• Processing supplier payments.
• Reconciling supplier statements.
• Managing employee expenses and company credit cards.
• Maintaining customer account records.
• Supporting both purchase and sales ledger activities.
• Working across multiple finance tasks within a collaborative team.

We're looking for someone who:

✔ Has around 2-3 years' experience within an Accounts Assistant or Purchase Ledger role.

✔ Has excellent attention to detail and enjoys working accurately.

✔ Is comfortable working in a fast-paced finance environment.

✔ Has strong Excel skills.

✔ Is studying AAT or would like an employer to support them through Level 4.

✔ Wants to build a long-term career within finance.

✔ Enjoys variety and getting involved across different areas of accounts.
