💷 Salary: £28k-£30k
🕒 Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm (1 hour lunch break)
📄 Contract: Full time Permanent

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to support the Financial Director with a wide range of accounting and finance activities.

🔹 Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing purchase ledger processes including invoice matching, coding, and inputting
• Processing supplier payments and reconciling statements
• Raising sales invoices and managing receipts
• Supporting credit control activities
• Completing bank and ledger reconciliations
• Assisting with VAT and duty reconciliations
• Supporting payroll and pension administration
• Processing expenses and maintaining petty cash records
• Supporting month-end close activities
• General accounts administration and stock take support

🔹 The ideal candidate will have:
• AAT Level 2 qualification (or equivalent)
• Previous experience within an accounts/finance role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively
• Experience with bank and ledger reconciliations
• A reliable, organised, and proactive approach
