Elevation Recruitment are currently partnering with a well-established business in the Bradford area that is looking to recruit a Accounts & Payroll Assistant on a permanent basis.
Reporting directly into the Group Financial Controller and this is a 50/50 split between accounts and payroll. Where you will take responsibility for processing end to end weekly & monthly payroll for around 400 employees, processing starters/leavers monthly payroll journals and & being the point of contact for all payroll queries. As well as managing accounts up to trail balance, bank reconciliations , journals and accruals etc. System used are Sage 50 Payroll & MS Excel.
Location: Bradford, BD12 (office based)
Salary: Up to £37,500 DOE
Hours: Full time, 8:30am - 4:30pm
Key responsibilities include:
- End-to-end weekly and monthly payroll processing for circa 400 employees
- Accruals, Prepayments and bank reconciliations
- Managing accounts up to trail balance
- Managing starters and leavers
- Processing payroll journals
- Acting as the main point of contact for payroll queries
