The Role:
Silcom Recruitment is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join an established client of ours based in Swindon. The ideal candidate will have previous accounts experience. Motor trade experience is encouraged but is not essential.
Responsibilities & Requirements of an Assistant Accountant:
Supporting the accounts team with day to day finance duties.
Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Processing bank statements and completing regular bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
Carrying out credit control duties and following up on outstanding payments.
Supporting month end processes and the preparation of management accounts.
Assisting with journals, accruals and prepayments.
Package:
Basic salary - £30,000.
Monday to Friday - working 40 hours per week.
Flexible start and finish times available.
